We are on the Kalpitiya peninsula, about 130 km — roughly 3 to 3.5 hours by road — north of Colombo's international airport (CMB). Most guests come by private transfer, which we arrange, but there are cheaper options too.
Airport transfer
The simplest way to arrive is a private transfer we book for you. Send your flight details and we arrange a driver to meet you at Colombo airport and bring you straight to the resort — no queuing for taxis after a long flight, no haggling, no wrong turns on the peninsula.

No. Asking costs nothing and there is no deposit to start a conversation. If your specific dates need a deposit to hold a spot, we will tell you clearly and in writing first.
Lesson hours are rescheduled within your stay wherever possible, and weather-cancelled boat trips are rescheduled or refunded. We would rather move a session than teach in conditions where you learn nothing.
Prices are quoted in EUR, and payment is accepted in USD, EUR or LKR at the day rate. Ask us about current card options when you book.
Yes — either as a kite package that bundles lessons, room and meals, or you can book rooms directly with Valampuri Resort. We will point you to whichever is simpler for your trip.
Absolutely. We price partner stays on a room-and-meals basis so nobody pays for lessons they will not take, and there is plenty for them to do around the lagoon.
